CloudLock Closes Q3 2014 with 107 Percent Revenue Growth and Launches Customer for Life Initiative

Cloud security provider marks 13th consecutive quarter of record revenue

Waltham, MA – (Nov. 6, 2014) CloudLock, the leading cloud information security provider, today reported the company grew its revenue in the first nine months of 2014 by 107 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013. The third quarter represented CloudLock’s 13th consecutive quarter of record revenue. The company also launched its Customer for Life Initiative, which ensures that CloudLock’s customers remain apprised of up-to-the-moment industry best practices and training related to the security of public cloud applications.

Product Innovation

During the third quarter, the company launched CloudLock for Google Drive, the industry’s first cloud security solution that detects and protects sensitive content in real time, averting potential incidents. The product is an agentless and completely non-intrusive native cloud solution, providing a highly intelligent content and behavior analytics engine that discovers and classifies organizations’ most sensitive data in real-time.

Additionally, the Company announced the general availability of CloudLock Selective Encryption, the world’s first purely cloud-based, content-aware, intelligent AES 256-bit encryption solution that allows enterprises to further protect sensitive data stored in Google Drive. It non-disruptively encrypts only the most sensitive data and allows for both end-user-driven encryption, as well as corporate-governed encryption, enforced by CloudLock’s cloud-based policy engine.

Customer for Life Initiative

CloudLock unveiled its Customer for Life Program during its 3rd annual North American user group held in September in Boston. The user group was attended by more than 100 security experts, IT professionals, partners and CloudLock staff focused on sharing best practices in cloud security.

The initiative underlines CloudLock’s commitment to delivering industry best practices and education specifically related to the security of public cloud applications. As part of the initiative, the company graduated the inaugural class of CloudLock University, an online and in-person training program provided at three levels for CloudLock customers. Since launching this quarter, more than 125 individuals have successfully graduated CloudLock University at the Fundamentals and Advanced levels.

The company also unveiled CloudLock Connect, an innovative online customer community,functioning as a one-stop destination for product information, documentation, sharing of best practices, support information and ideation.

Key Customer Wins

CloudLock added a significant number of new, noteworthy customers and worked with several current customers to strategically broaden their use of the Company’s offerings in the third quarter and now exceeds more than 5 million users under management.

New and existing customers with noteworthy transactions in Q3 included, GSA, Whirlpool, Oakland Unified School District, Kohl’s, Ohio Valley Health Services, BBVA Compass Bank, United States Naval War College, Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, Adelphi University, Fairchild Semiconductor, Seagate Technology, and Enterprise Holdings.

Q3 also represented considerable traction for CloudLock internationally with 17 percent of sales coming from transactions outside the U.S. in 18 countries. Key transactions with new and existing customers included Qantas Loyalty, Itau Cultural, Delta Hotels and Resorts, Rovio, Unibank Haiti, Sun Pharma, Playtech, BBVA Bancomer, Ahold, Noel Leeming, Grupo DIA, OdigeO, SpecSavers, London Borough of Hillingdon, Just-Eat Holding Ltd., News UK, ITV, Open Bet, and John Lewis.
