The shores of the Golden State shined extra bright in our third-year on the exhibition floor. It was great hearing from and speaking with industry experts and luminaries about the future of the public cloud and its impact on cloud data security.
Our booth was a flurry of activity during the Lockpick Challenge, which really was the highlight of the event. RSA attendees throughout the event tried their hand at picking the locks; some were successful. We had many winners of the $25 Starbucks Gift Cards, but there could only be one winner of the grand prize: an iPad Mini!
In one presentation, the Chief Cloud Security Architect at Vodafone discussed how encryption isn’t the answer; awareness, governance and data classification are. This session, along with a number of other speaking sessions at the Conference, supports our strong belief in people-centric security as the future of cloud data security. As SaaS becomes the de facto standard for deploying new applications, organizations are tasked with extending their enterprise data security and compliance policies to support public cloud applications.
We had a great time at RSA Conference 2014, and we hope RSA Conference 2015 is as thought-provoking and exciting!
