As a sponsor, we couldn’t have asked for a better event in terms of turnout and engagement of Google Apps users. The event meeting room was packed with attendees checking out the latest in technology and best practices with Google Apps.
There was great representation across all types of organizations using Google Apps, like businesses, universities, and nonprofits, from across the mid-Atlantic region.

Attendees enjoying presentations in the event meeting room
Eric delivered a presentation focused on how the trend is leaning towards users working the way they live, that is, installing third party apps to increase productivity and value from the Google Apps platform. This proliferation of third party apps being granted access into Google Apps domains brings up the requirement of establishing Acceptable Application Policy (AAP) workflows.

CloudLock Apps Firewall presentation
For full impact, Eric then walked through a demo of CloudLock Apps Firewall, which gives IT the peace of mind that employees can use the apps they want securely.
A big thank you goes out to David, Steve, and Karen for putting together a great event and hosting us. We had a great time!
