Last Friday we had the honor of participating in the Boston University School of Management’s TechConnect event. The event connects Boston-area technology executives with technology- focused MBA students and faculty for a one-night event of sharing and learning.
CloudLock’s own CTO and Co-Founder Ron Zalkind took part in the Security Panel discussing issues and threats as well as solutions to manage BYOD and moving to the cloud. A key takeaway from his presentation, Ron states, “People are more vulnerable than they think, and we’re not moving as fast as an industry to address the risk.”
People-centric security is quickly becoming a necessary reality in the era of BYOD and, the far more threatening, shadow IT. Ron spoke to this new security perimeter at the event stating, “Users are self-selecting cloud applications and are moving faster than security firms.”
