Growing up in the 90’s, there was a popular computer game and television show, Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?, The first half of the year for CloudLock has been a busy one and very easily could have us coining our own version: Where in the World is CloudLock?
Between February and June, CloudLock has attended and/or hosted over 13 events crisscrossing the globe. By the numbers it looks a little like this:
- 13 Events
- 11 Different cities
- 72+ Round trip employee flights
- 10+ Roundtrip employee international flights
- 2 Continents
- 1 EPIC Party at RSA
- 1 London Customer User Group
- 0 Lost luggage!
Even though the logistics can get a bit intense when in the thick of it, this craziness is also why I love what I do. There are so many moving pieces to an event (travel, messaging, logistics, etc.) many of which are planned months in advance. It is always exciting to design the experience and make all elements come together to put our team in action networking and spreading the CloudLock story.
The best part, well besides the fun of traveling to cool cities? With each event, we see increased traction, as the security community becomes more familiar with the pitfalls associated with gateway and proxy-based approaches to cloud security and looks to engage with us to discuss the cloud-native approach.
When I started writing this, it felt as if I was writing a summary for the whole year, because of all the accomplishments and growth we’ve had as a company, but the fact is we’ve only just begun! 2015 is far from over and CloudLock’s event calendar is just as full for the second half of the year.
Here is a quick highlight reel of our events to-date. If you didn’t get a chance to visit with us at one of these events, make sure you keep checking our event calendar as we’d love to see you!
