Marketing Intern – Events and Lead Generation
We’re a Waltham-based startup developing security apps for companies moving their data to the cloud. We’re looking for the right intern to join our marketing team for the fall semester. In particular, we need someone that can take over and manage the following:
- Manage and take ownership of our contact lists – We’re not going to lie: this is going to be a lot of work in spreadsheets and old fashioned google searching, but it’s extremely important for us
- Help with event planning – We’re sponsoring and participating in several events and conferences in Q4, and we’ll need help with all of the logistical items
- Come up with creative ways to increase leads – We’re always looking for new ways to drive new users to our sites, and we’re always open to new ideas
About You:
- You’re able to make it to our Waltham headquarters
- Given a list of companies, you’re able to quickly find information online
- You’re eager to see what it’s like to work at a growing software startup
The Challenge:
Take a look at our product and:
- Tell us how you would find companies that would benefit from our product.
- Tell us why you’d be interested in working at a startup.
- Point out an example of your work online. Have a blog? Link to it. A twitter, linkedin, Google+, Facebook, or flooblr account (okay, that last one doesn’t really exist)? That’ll do. We do a lot of writing here, and if you’re an excellent writer, there may be some opportunities to create some content as well.
- Tell us about you. What do you like doing? (We don’t normally hire inhuman robots and drooling zombies, so think of this as a captcha for personality).
Send your answers to the 4 questions above to marketing at cloudlock dot com along with a resume.
